Two person project
Materials: Cardboard, blue tape, hot glue, Velcro strips
Goal: Create a female figure out of cardboard (prop for play a fellow classmate wrote)
Limbs needed to be able to be "ripped" off and put back together

Group project
Materials: balsa wood, wood glue, sand paper
Goal: design a bridge within specified dimensions (height and length) that would withstand a load up to a fixed safety factor
Analyzed bridge structure using online software
Cut pieces and assembled bridge
Tested bridge by loading it with sand-filled water bottles into a bucket
